Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of our Terms of Use. It applies to every search, question and result on AI OneSearch. If you break it, we may end your access without refund where the law allows, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.

1. Permitted uses

Personal, lawful purposes such as checking that someone you met online is who they say they are, checking a seller or buyer before you pay, reconnecting with people you lost touch with, identifying an unknown caller, or seeing what is public about yourself.

2. Not for FCRA purposes

AI OneSearch is not a consumer reporting agency and does not provide consumer reports. You may not use the Service or its information, in whole or in part, to decide anyone's eligibility for:

• employment, promotion, reassignment or retention, including volunteers, contractors and household workers such as nannies or caregivers;
• renting or leasing housing, or tenant screening;
• credit, loans or other financing;
• insurance underwriting;
• a business transaction initiated by the person, government licences or benefits, or any other purpose that requires FCRA compliance.

3. Prohibited uses

• Stalking, harassing, threatening, intimidating or doxxing any person, or locating someone who does not want to be found by you (for example, a person protected by a restraining order).
• Identity theft, fraud, impersonation or obtaining information under false pretences.
• Searching for a minor, other than a parent or legal guardian acting for their own child.
• Discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic.
• Monitoring or tracking a person's movements, communications or devices.
• Scraping, bulk downloading, reselling or building a database from results; automated access without our written permission.
• Any use that breaks the law where you or the person you search for are located.

4. Your responsibility

You confirm that each search is for a permitted purpose. Results can be incomplete or about a different person; do not act against anyone based only on a result. If you are worried about your safety, contact local emergency services, not a search tool.

5. Report misuse

If you believe someone is misusing AI OneSearch, email [email protected] with "Misuse" in the subject. If information about you appears in results, you can ask us to remove it.
